Velichko Panko Grigorievich. Graphic artist, painter, Member of the Artists Union of Kazakhstan since 1976 Velichko Panko Georgievich was born in Kiev. He grew up in an orphanage, his parents were repressed in 1937. During the war years the boy Pasha found himself in Central Asia, where an important meeting with Bukhara master - wood carver and ganch Usto Shirin Muradovin, influenced the fate of the future artist. Velichko went with his family to Kazakhstan. In 1956 Panko Georgievich was invited to the Pavlodar Regional Drama Theatre named after A.P. Chekhov to the position of chief artist. From this moment begins a new stripe in his destiny. From now on and till the end of his days Panko Georgievich is a Kazakhstani artist with his own creative handwriting, with a passion for both graphics and painting.
