Morozov, in 1939-1943 he studied at the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) and learnt from F.S. Bogorodskii. Great influence on the formation of the artist as a fine landscape painter was from N.P. Krymov's works and communication with him. In 1944 Vasin Vladimir joined the Moscow Union of Artists, in 1945 he began his exhibition activity. Until 1996 he taught at VGIK. He was a painter who had a subtle perception and understanding of nature. The artist's landscape is always worked out in complex relationships of colours and halftones. His manner of painting is recognisable by the characteristic soft brownish-ochre palette filled with a sense of air. Solo exhibitions were repeatedly held in Moscow. His works are kept in the State Tretyakov Gallery, regional art museums of Russia, neighbouring countries and private collections. скрыть
