Utkin Alexey Fedorovich. Member of the Artists Union of Kazakhstan (since 1999). Alexey was born in 1949 in Altai, then his family moved to Almaty, where the childhood of the artist passed. In 1969, Alexey Utkin graduated from Almaty boarding school for deaf children №1, in 1974 - from Leningrad Art Technical School for the Deaf. In 1985 graduated from Almaty Theatre and Art Institute. His teacher was an outstanding painter Kanafia Telzhanov. Then for a long time Utkin worked in his native school - boarding school for deaf children №1 as a drawing teacher. The artist constantly tried himself in different genres, but his favourite subject was ‘City Landscape’, which always turns out masterfully. The city of Almaty became an inspiration for Alexei Utkin. On his canvases we see figures of citizens, familiar avenues, big and small streets, houses drowning in greenery in summer, and pavements covered with snow in winter. The rich creative biography of the master counts dozens of exhibitions and awards, including the exhibition ‘The Way II’ in Washington and ‘Tulip and Man’ at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Alexei Utkin's works are represented in private collections in Kazakhstan, Russia, the USA, Italy, Turkey, France, Spain and Holland. скрыть
