Viktor Sosedov. Soviet and Uzbek artist, participant of the World War II. He was born on 15 November 1929 in the village of Danilovka, Aktarsky district, Saratov province into a peasant family. Viktor Sosedov. Soviet and Uzbek artist, participant of the World War II. He was born on 15 November 1929 in the village of Danilovka, Aktarsky district, Saratov province into a peasant family. In 1930 the Sosedov family moved to Tashkent. Very early Sosedov V.P. began to attend the art studio of the city palace of pioneers. From 1944 to 1949 he studied at the painting department of the Republican Art School named after P. P. Benkov with P. Gan and P. Martakov. From 1949 to 1955 he was a student of the V. I. Mukhina Leningrad Higher Art School. Mukhina student did his diploma work in the Leningrad Museum of Artillery (Military Historical Museum of Artillery, Engineering and Communication Forces). ‘Canvas’ was a wall of about 60 square metres at the entrance to the building. Victor Sosedov's most famous work in the encaustic technique - ‘Dastarkhan’ - decorated the interior of the central airline ticket offices opposite the former Rossiya Hotel. In 1959 he returned to Tashkent. Viktor Sosedov is a master of easel painting and monumental painting. He worked in the historical-revolutionary genre, referring most often to historical days and events of Uzbekistan. He was in close contact with Ch. Akhmarov and U. Tansykbayev. With Ural Tansykbaev he often travelled for sketches. In the early 60's in Tashkent he communicated with artists: N. Shin, V. Nichayev, V. Zhmakin, I. Enin, T. Oganesov, N. Pak. The whole life and creativity of this artist was connected with teaching activities at the Tashkent Theatre and Art Institute. скрыть
