Executive Secretary of the Board of the Artists Union of Kazakhstan. Born in the village Klyuchiki Kurgan region in 1924. Graduated from Almaty Art School named after N.V.Gogol (modern Almaty College of Decorative and Applied Arts named after Oral Tansykbaev) learnt from N. Krutilnikov. Many of his works Plukhin dedicates to the heroes-metallurgists of Balkhash and miners of Karaganda. Such is his work ‘Before Smelting’ (1957). A significant place is occupied by his works devoted to agriculture and Aral fishermen: ‘The first furrow’ (1954), “Spring Tones” (1957). For many years the artist lived and worked in the city of Kostanay. Konstantin Ivanovich's stained glass windows and mosaics decorate the airport of Kostanay, the building of Kostanay CHPP, numerous cultural and industrial facilities of different cities. After a business trip to Star City in 1979, he drew a gallery of cosmonauts: a graphic portrait of G. T. Beregovoy with the cosmonaut's autograph. The artist depicted other heroes of the era - academicians, marshals, heroes of labour. Participant of art exhibitions since 1952: international, all-Union, republican, zonal, regional. Works are kept in collections of the State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after A. Kasteev, the National Museum of Tajikistan, Pavlodar and Kurgan regional art museums, the Museum of Cosmonautics in Star City, Shushenskaya national art gallery and in other museums. Plukhin has patented the author's primer. If you cover the canvas with it, no matter how much time passes, the colours do not fade, the canvas perfectly retains its original qualities and can calmly endure temperature changes from +40 to -40 degrees Celsius. скрыть
