Anatoly Vasilyevich Nikonov. Nikonov Anatoly Vasilyevich was born on 28 July 1938 in the village Skorodum in Siberia (Russia, Tyumen region). He lived and studied in Yekaterinburg. He received his initial education from his brother Alexei Nikonov, an artist, who pushed him towards professional art education. They went to sketching together, and their room turned into an improvised joint art studio. After school, Anatoly entered a construction technical school, then the All-Union Correspondence Institute of Construction, where he learnt the skills of a designer, architect and planner. He worked in his speciality at the design institute, where there was a section of mountain climbers, with them he often went to conquer the Kazakhstan mountains. In 1963 Anatoly Vasilyevich came to Almaty and began to conquer the Alatau peaks. The artist fell in love with the mountains. Since that time his life is inextricably linked with Kazakhstan and Almaty. Anatoly Nikonov's friend mountaineer Eugene Belovol noticed Anatoly's passion for painting and brought him to the studio ‘Pyatnitsa’ to Stadnichuk Ivan Yakovlevich. After that he participated in studio, city and all-Union exhibitions. Anatoly began to work in the youth section of the Artists Union of Kazakhstan. The constant lack of professional art education led him to the Almaty Pedagogical University. In parallel, he studied in the studio of Stadnichuk. While still being an architect-constructor in Kazvodokanalproekt, he opened an art studio for children of employees. After graduating from the Faculty of Art and Graphic Arts, he taught at secondary schools No. 38 and No. 9, and then at the Almaty College of Construction and Management and the College of Architecture and Construction. скрыть
