Participant of all-Union and republican exhibitions since 1952. Worked in Almaty combine ‘Oner’. Led an active public life. For more than 20 years he was a permanent chairman of the military sponsorship commission, organised exhibitions in military units and meetings of soldiers with artists. He is the author of numerous thematic paintings and portraits. His work is characterised by military-patriotic themes. A significant theme in his paintings is the life of village workers. He travelled a lot around the republic, visited remote areas. Such trips resulted in sketches and paintings on the theme of rural life.
