After the service he finished his studies at the Russian Art School and in 1955 entered the painting faculty of the Repin Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in the workshop of the National Artist of the USSR Y. Neprintsev. The young artist was noted for his fine sense of colour, juicy, generous writing and a predilection for genre composition. The artist was attracted by first-target workers, ordinary workers, people and their fates. Since 1961 he lived and worked in Tselinograd (in the following years Akmola - Astana). From 1984 to 1991 was the chairman of the Tselinograd organisation of the Artists Union.The paintings are kept in the State Museum of Fine Arts named after A.
