Kenzhebayev Chingiz (Shingis) Beisembayevich. Kazakh graphic artist. Member of the Artists Union of the USSR (1961). Was born in 1927 in Kyzyl-Orda in the family of an employee. Graduated from Almaty Art School (1954) and Moscow State Art Institute named after Surikov (1954 - 1960). He studied in the workshops of Reiner, Chernykh, Kibrik and Motorin. Kenzhebaev is a graphic artist who showed himself to be a mature master of linocuts.
