Mukhit Kalimov is a bright representative of the classics of Kazakhstani art of the twentieth century. He contributed to the creation of the national language of painting. Excellent academic education allowed the artist to realise his ideas, creating a variety of landscape, portrait and genre works. For the creation of images of Isatay Taymanov and Makhambet Utemisov in 1996 he became a laureate of the prize named after M. Utemisov. Participant of republican, union and international exhibitions.
