Golubovich Vasily. Soviet theatre artist, Honoured Art Worker of the Kazakh SSR (1954). Born on 10 January 1910 in Kokhanovo (now Tolochinsky district, Vitebsk region, Belarus). Grew up in Yekaterinoslav (now Dnieper) in Ukraine. Here he received secondary education. As a theatre artist began to work in theatres of Dnepropetrovsk (Theatre of the Youth Union, Opera Theatre, 1933-1941). Then (1943-1946) - in Saratov theatres (TYUZ, K. Marx Theatre). In 1946-1958 - chief artist in the Kazakh Drama Theatre. In 1958-1962 - chief artist of the Kupala Theatre. Since 1947 he was a teacher at the Almaty Art School, in 1959-1965 - at the Belarusian Theatre and Art Institute. Died on 28 December 1991 in Minsk. скрыть
