He created a gallery of portrait works, in which Jusupov endeavoured to show multifaceted characters of people, creatively and spiritually rich. Ali Dzhusupov chose motherhood as one of the main themes of his art. He devoted his first paintings to this theme. The painting ‘Women of my Motherland’ (1965) became a textbook for Kazakhstani art. The best works of Dzhusupov include the painting ‘First Reading’ (1960s), ‘Mountains in Winter.
