Drozdov Alexander. Artist. Graphic artist. Member of the Artists Union of the USSR. Born on 18 August 1921 in the village of Ilovo-Rozhdestno, Pervomaisky district, Tambov region. Studied at the Penza Art School from 1937 to 1940. From 1941 to 1945 he was a participant of the Great Patriotic War, which he finished as a battery commander with the rank of Guards captain. Drozdov Alexander. Artist. Graphic artist. Member of the Artists Union of the USSR. Born on 18 August 1921 in the village of Ilovo-Rozhdestno, Pervomaisky district, Tambov region. Studied at the Penza Art School from 1937 to 1940. From 1941 to 1945 he was a participant of the Great Patriotic War, which he finished as a battery commander with the rank of Guards captain. Until 1965 Drozdov lived and worked in Lipetsk, where one of the leading themes in his work - industrial landscape and everyday life of industrial workers - was defined. Since 1965 he lived and worked in Almaty (present-day Almaty). The heyday of Drozdov's creativity came in the last two decades of his activity, when the artist lived and worked in Kazakhstan. Here he created vivid series of landscapes and industrial scenes. He was accepted as a member of the Artists Union of the USSR in 1970. From 1977 to 1982 he was executive secretary of the Board of the Artists Union of Kazakhstan. Participant of republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions. Works of A.P. Drozdov are kept in the State Museum of Arts of Kazakhstan, the Directorate of Art Exhibitions of the Ministry of Culture of Kazakhstan, the Directorate of Art Exhibitions of the Artists Union of the USSR, in the Pavlodar Regional Museum of Fine Arts, Temirtau's Museum of History. скрыть
