Graduated from the Republican Art School in Tashkent (1948) under V. S. Basov. Boris Brynskikh's favourite motifs are the old city of Tashkent, its streets, neighbourhood gardens and mosques. The artist paid special attention to the everyday life of the eastern city and correctly noticed its peculiar features. The characteristic features of Central Asia - mud-brick houses, duvals, majestic chinaras, silver-green poplars depicted by the artist - give national specificity to his paintings. His works are perceived as bright, vivid scenes from the life of the people. The artist's works have deservedly entered the golden fund of contemporary paintings in Uzbekistan. Brynskikh's works are kept in a number of museum collections, including the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Museum of Arts of Uzbekistan (Tashkent), the Bukhara Museum of History and Local Lore; in art galleries in Austria, Finland, France, Japan; and in private collections, including the United States. скрыть
