Baitursynov Dosymbek Oralbekovich. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts (since 1981). Was born in Chui district of Zhambyl region. In 1972 he graduated from the Academy of Arts named after N.V.Gogol (modern Almaty College of Decorative and Applied Arts named after Oral Tansykbaev). Lived and worked in Kokchetav. Works are kept in the State Museum of Fine Arts named after A. Kasteev, in private collections.
