Use of site materials

According to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 10, 1996 No. 6-1 “On Copyright and Related Rights”, the use of images, photos, and all material available on the site is allowed exclusively for non–commercial use and subject to mandatory indication of the author’s name and the source of borrowing (including the social networks of the “Zhaukhar Art Gallery” – hereinafter referred to as “Gallery”) in the following cases and under the following conditions:

  1. Individual use of all materials for personal, educational, cultural, educational and scientific purposes, for home lessons with children or other educational activities.
  2. The use of audio, video and multimedia materials posted on the site using embedding from publicly available social services (video channels, presentation services, music players, etc.) – to an unlimited extent, with an explicit indication of the ownership of the taken image to the official site resource and using publicly available embed codes provided by these public services containing an active hyperlink to the source material, in which the URL of the page is given without an abbreviation.
  3. The use of all materials in print and electronic publications, television stories and radio broadcasts of mass media in cases where the publication, transmission or broadcast is aimed at purposefully disseminating information about the Gallery, its activities and events, employees and projects.

In the case of commercial use of the materials of the Gallery‘s website, prior written permission should be obtained, which is provided on an individual basis at the discretion of the Gallery on the basis of an official written request from an interested person or organization. The request should be sent to the Gallery‘s email address (info@zhaukhar.kz) marked “Use of site materials“.

It is prohibited to produce fine, printed, souvenir and other replicated products and consumer goods using images of the site, as well as using the names and symbols of the Gallery.

The Gallery does not guarantee that the use of images and other materials posted on the official website of the Gallery does not violate the rights of third parties that do not belong to the Gallery and are not associated with it. Reproduction of works whose copyright holders are third parties (not the Gallery) requires the consent of the copyright holders, regardless of whether such reproduction is carried out for a fee or free of charge.
